I am loving this!

I have been on weight watchers for 10 weeks now and have lost 16 pounds so far!!:banana:

I used to be a british size 16 but am now size 14!!:cool1: I also bought my first size 12 top that made me feel brilliant!!

I am loving my new body and actually went aqua aerobics last night, that is the first time i would be seen in a swimsuit in public!!


Bring it on Ladies, we will all get there!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2

Torsie - I have the Dirty Dancing routines one and it is so hard! The guy on it is really good, but I think the girl just wants to show off and make you look inferior LOL! She shows you like once and then does it with bells on sooo fast!
 
what is the best work out dvd and what the frig is plates???

i want a good work out that i can do at home so i dont have to have my gym membership anymore £50 a month adds up... so imagine what i could be saving towards our wedding & honeymoon!!

any ideas on dvds or work outs let me know!
 
I actually quit the gym, because the only one I like is really, REALLY expensive. I bought a few Biggest Loser dvd's and a Jillian Micheals one. I got them each for $10 (Cdn). I have to say I was really impressed! I normally do not like these type of videos, but these were great!

I also bought a mini-trampoline. I had one awhile ago, but broke it when DF and I decided to both jump at the same time :rotfl:. Anyway, they are cheap, work very well, and you can jump well watching tv!!!

I bought the Wii EA Sports personal trainer online today, should be here tomorrow! I can't wait!

My guess when you ask about plates you're talking about Pilates. I think its some type of yoga. I have one of those videos for it. It looks really uncomfortable and I only watch it to make myself feel better rather than to do the actual exercise. I like the Carmen Electra Stripaerobics videos. They're fun to do and entertaining to watch. Plus, you can learn how to do a really fancy lap dance. ;)
 
I totally agree Stace!! That £50 will add up every month! It's £850 in 1 year 5 months! $1360 at today's exchange rate and half the Coach!! (Yep, I'm a bit bored!!)

Dirty Dancing is very good, it's a bit hard but it does make you sweat!! The songs that I can think of on it are Love Man, Do You Love Me, Johnny's Mambo....my fave is Love Man, I just love that scene in the movie and the dance is similar!

oooh so today my hunger is bad.

my tummy is aching for food - crap food.

day 3 into the diet...and this is what i have eaten so far. i have been so good.

BREAKFAST
Low fat nautral yoghurt & blueberries, strawberries and raspberries

LUNCH
Salad - lettuce, cucumber, carrots, sweetcorn & green pitted olives & low fat coleslaw. (olives are fattening i know, and i need to cut them out as i usually have loads on my salads!!!)

DINNER
Salad - same as above, with a hard boiled egg or some boiled potatoes or some grilled chicken with it.

Grapes & strawberries to snack on all day. (i have been eating a half a box in the evening) and i have some olives too...

i have Tea abour 5 times a day with milk & 1 sugar...


AND IM HUNGRY!!

LAST NIGHT I DREAMED I WAS EATING CHIPS???? huh?? is this normal???

DINNER
200g Skinless Chicken Breast (4.5pts), 1/2 Jar Weight Watchers Tikka Sauce (2pts), 62.5g Rice - Uncle Ben's Boil in Bag (3pts)

So 17.5pts - I'm allowed 22, but I'm trying to keep under 20. I might have a Weight Watchers Rich Toffee Bar after my tea, so maybe 19pts :)

I dream I'm doing crazy things all the day. totally normal! BTW I've done a lot of workout dvds and I like the ones from Beachbody.com. Slim in 6 is nice for beginners and P90 is a little more intense. After those there is the Slim series- more intense and P90X = Super intense! I also like the yoga booty ballet- I used to take classes at the gym for this. I have the DVDs but never did them diligently enough to attribute everything to them.

And PS Olives are good!! Excellent healthy fats, have some fiber and the fat is filling. Don't go overboard but keep them as a part of your diet. They are super health foods.

Nice job with the points, but don't go too low. When my mom and I were on WW, my mom had to make sure to eat all her points or else she wouldn't lose weight. I definitely would not recommend going below your points AND not eating your weekly allowance points OR active points. If you cut calories too low, your body will try frantically to hold on to the store calories (i.e. weight) and it can be very difficult to lose. PS I've never heard of WW Tikka sauce, but it sounds delicious! I love murgh tikka.
 
Keep it up Stacey! Days 3 and 4 are where it gets tough for me, but once you get through the first week it starts getting really fine and jsut feels like normal!

I'm 22 points aswell hayley (but that's not really a suprise lol! we are like WW twins!)

My food today fo far has been:

Actimel (1pt)
Crunchy Nut Cornflakes and Soya Milk (1.5pt)
150g Strawberries and 100g Pineapple (1pt)
2 slice thin brown bread (2pt)
Ham (0.5pt)
Extra light cream cheese (0.5pt)
Branston Pickle (0.5pt)
Walkers baked crisps (1.5pt)

And I will be ahving two jaffa cakes with my tea at 3 Oclock (1.5pt)

So that'll be 11.5pt and I might have 2 kiwi fruits (0.5pt) at about 5.

Then I'll have 10 points for dinner. Probably have quorn chicken fillet, home amde cajun potato wedgies, bbq sauce and broccolli or something similar.

I like to keep to my 22 as then when you do have to come down some points it makes it hard to lose weight then.
 
Do you sometimes find that it's hard to eat all your points?! When I did WW before, I was lighter, so less points and didn't really have that problem.

Sometimes I'll have about 16pts and not feel hungry after - I don't want to eat for the sake of eating! Half the time I do 20-22 though.

So this morning, I woke up and was like I need to start a diet!! I am currently heavier than I was while pregnant with my third daughter.

My goal is to lose 20 pounds by September... which is the same goal I had back in January.. ugh!!

I had a dream last night that I didn't fit into my dress. (It came in yesterday and I haven't picked it up yet)

So this morning, I woke up and was like I need to start a diet!! I am currently heavier than I was while pregnant with my third daughter.

My goal is to lose 20 pounds by September... which is the same goal I had back in January.. ugh!!

Oh my gawd!

I just finished my first workout on ea wii active.

I really really wish I'd put it on low intensity.

My legs are going to HURT tomorrow!!! 150 cals though. :teeth:
 
ooh im upset.

i went a bit mad earlier.

there were some mini sausage rolls on the kitchen side when i came home from work that my mum made and i thought '' no, im going to have my 'treat' tonight and have my low fat cheesy wholemeal pasta' ...

while i was stirring my pasta round in the saucepan i ate a sausage roll... and then another... and then stuffed two in my mouth and well, i ended up eatingg about 11.....

i ate perfectly today.. again my tummy was killing me, where its not used to not having junk filling it up all day long and i had my yummy youghurt and fruit for brekkie and my salad for lunch...

:headache:

Just get straight back on the wagon tomorrow and do some excercise maybe and it'll be like it never happened. :)
