Noticed one of my Golden Edge Euonymous was dropping leaves. A close inspection shows they have an infestation of Euonymous Scale. I sprayed, but does anybody have any idea what I should be doing to save them? So far it appears only to be on one plant, but I have about 5 good sized plants I'd just as soon not lose.

If you want to save the infestation why did you spray it :confused3 ?
Oh !You want to save the plant !! My bad. Nope, can't help you on that one,,don't know.

I'm thinking of cutting it down and shipping it off to Tennessee. Spread the wealth, so to speak. Maybe I'll haul it down with my leaking, rotten floored trailer.

whew!

Ya had me worried there Jim! When I saw the header I thought you were
suffering from some awful medical condition.:scared1::lmao:

LOL, I thought the same thing Denny!
And, as everyone knows, once you lose your Euonymous you can't get it back, so it's best to save it if you can ;)

Take a cutting to your county Ag Center. They'll assess it for free & tell you what to do. Also take a sample of the soil it's planted in for assessment. It may be something as simple as compounding the soil's PH.

If you don't have an Ag Center close enough, take a cutting to Home Depot. The associates in the garden center can be the home agriculturist's best friend - and again - it's free!

Deb...I'm doing just that today with leaves from my three truck White Spier Birch Tree that I received as a Mother's Day gift a few years ago. Something is eating the leaves on one of the trunks. Looks so sad. :sad2:
