Many many moons ago on our first trip we bought our son an autograph book and we overheard someone mention that you should put your name and address inside the book because if you lose it Disneyland personel will mail it back to you and sometime they get characters to sign it first. Does anyone know if this is true?

I would hope so. i just checked my autograph book i still have from Disneyworld in 1995, and my address and name is wirtten inside. i would hope if a CM found it, it would be mailed back to you :)

If you file a lost and found report at city hall and leave your phone number they will at least notify you when/if it is found. By doing that you have a much better chance of getting it back!

I know that I always put my name on the front, b'cuz the characters will see it & might even personalize the autograph. & I know that Disney is very good at returning lost items. especially is you file a report @ lost & found. Over the years I've lost several items ranging from glasses to credit cards. All but one has been returned to me in a timely manner. I was especially surprised that some thing were mailed back even before I got home. =)
