Losinf FPP question

we have split stay RO booked with tickets purchased separately linked to MDE. May need to cancel first part of trip. What happens to FPP booked for second half of trip if I cancel first resort stay after 60 days? So confused, TIA!

As long as your 2nd stay is still within 60 days, nothing will happen to the FP that you have booked for the 2nd half of the stay. But if you cancel before you're within 60 days of the 2nd stay, then all your selections will be canceled, because even though you still have a resort res, you're not yet eligible to book.

Ok, just checking before I cancel. I am in the 60 day window of the second half of my stay that I am planning to keep. I have RO reservation at AKL and have 3 days park ticket during this portion linked in MDE. If I cancel the earlier split resort I will not lose the FPP for my AKl stay? TIA

You won't lose them. Your FPs are not attached to your room reservation: they are linked in MDE and are based on an onsite stay. Your 2nd onsite stay ensures that you will not have any FPs canceled. You meet all the requirements to keep all FPs that are booked.

I just went to cancel my first stay and it had an alert there that said I would lose FPP made with that stay. I didn't continue. Am I ok to cancel it anyway since the FPP I want to keep are during the dates of my second stay? Made me nervous to see that alert.

The Warning appears for any potential onsite cancellation. But, because you are well into the window for your 2nd onsite stay, your FPs will remain.

The onsite stay is what triggers and maintains the open 60-day window. Your 2nd stay maintains the opening.
