LOS passes from SOG

For any of you who have stayed at the Contemporary/SOG recently, how do they handle LOS passes? Can LOS passes purchased at the SOG ticket office be put onto your resort ID/room key, or are the passes separate?

Your cheapest ticket option would be the stars and stripes pass. I don't think they can be put on a resort key
