L'Originale or Yachtsman?

When DW and I first planned our solo trip, we had ressies at BCV and intended to dine at both Yachtsman Steakhouse and L'Originale Alfredo di Roma.

We've since changed our travel dates and will be staying at OKW. We will probably only make it over to the Epcot area one night, so I'm trying to decide between these two restaurants.

Which would you recommend for a more memorable / enjoyable dining experience?

I think I would pick Yachtsman over Alfredos. We did not have the best experience at Alfredo's when we were there in December. It was way crowded, the tables seemed to be on top of each other and the food was just okay. Yachtsman is a little more quiet and we really enjoy the food there.

Have you been to Le Cellier, the food is wonderful there as well. Also, Flying Fish is one of our favorite restaurants

Between those two, Yachtsman would be my choice also.

"Fredo's for Italian, Yachtsman for everything else.

For a more quiet, relaxed, memorable time, a meal at any deluxe resort restaurant wins over a meal at a park restaurant. In this case the choice is even easier. The Yachtsman has better food, service, and atmosphere than Alfredo's.

For a more relaxing dinner, I would choose the Yachtsman. But we have always enjoyed Alfredo's every time we have gone. For a restaurant that always gets bashed, it certainly is always very crowded.

The Yachtsman Steakhouse is our last night tradition because of the wonderful service, quality food and atmosphere, and we want to be pampered before we return to the "real world".
