Ok.... my child (DD) is becoming the toothless wonder... and just in time for the wedding photos!!!!:headache:
let me first explain the situation.... My daughter is disabled and was in a coma for 10 days when she was 15 months old. At that time she had only 4 teeth.. they were coming in slowly.... but when she woke up 10 days later... she had all but 2 molars left to sprout! VERY WEIRD!!!:faint:
So my biggest fear has been that she would start losing them all at once. The dentist stated that would not happen.... she lost her first bottom 2 teeth 1 month apart... normal...:bounce:
But she had just slightly wiggly front teeth last night.... in less than 24 hours... she has lost 3 on top and one on the bottom AND now another on the bottom is wiggly.
DFI thinks its great cuz she looks like a hillbilly! Great... no comfort for me in that.
Oh... and I have no idea where those 3 teeth are either.
Help
The tooth fairy will be broke and unemployed by my child!!!! LOL!
Any advice or calming words will be appreciated!

I think those toothless photos are the sweetest! I wouldn't be upset, it will be a precious memory of an all-too-short time in her life.

On the other hand, you could just hot-glue some chiclets in there for the pictures :teeth:

I currently have a toothless wonder of my own. Here's what he currently looks like:

He has had these wiggly teeth for a while, and does not like it when they fall out. I knocked one out with a facecloth, one fell out while he was asleep, and one fell out while he was napping in the car and he SWALLOWED it. ACK ACK ACK.

It will be fine, and I think the pictures will be adorable.

DS has been messing with his top front teeth for a month or more, and BEGS me to feel them - well, just read my tag - no way am I touching those wiggly things!!! Yesterday, I picked him up from school and he smiled - 1 tooth gone, top front left. I swear he look like a Jack-O-Lantern, he has 2 more trying to come out - 1 on top & 1 on bottom loose. If only it were October, I could stick a candle in him & put him out on the porch:teeth:

Dont worry about the pictures. Im sure she is beautiful!
My DS seems to lose his in spurts, usually 2 really close together. In just about 1 year hes lost 8. On the other hand he has a friend the same age who has only lost 2 all together and thats been in about 6 months time.
Ironically since DS has started losing them we have gone to WDW twice and each time 1 falls out during our trip. I cant wait to see if he continues his streak in July.

WOW.....I was going to lurk here, but had to comment. I did not realize soooo many are lost so often. I, for some reason, thought 2 a year. Mine has had 2 pulled, not lost any on his own quite yet. Shows what I know about it. :p

BTW, Debster812....he's a cutie pie and I am sure yours will be great for the wedding too.

The toothless pics are priceless ::yes::

I had to have most of my baby teeth pulled. 13 to be exact. So there was a time when I had NO teeth in the front. I had the front four on top pulled, then 2 weeks later the front five on bottom. I looked pretty silly but my Mom just loves the pics of me with no teeth.
