loops with the least sand....

We will be doing our 1st popup camping the 1st week of January 2016. Willing to pay for preferred for extra room and a mostly paved pad. Any suggestions for which loop? I was thinking 200 or 300. Seen many pictures but unsure of request. Any input would be great!

We have stayed in both 100 and 200. We were beside the VIP cabins in the 100 loop and noticed a lot of foot traffic through that side of the loop and a lot of cart noise on the cart path leading to the Settlement area. The 200 loop was a little quieter while still being just a short walking distance to the Settlement and marina area.

If you're looking for larger paved pads, you might want to check out the premium loops. We always stay in preferred with no pets, but there is still quite a bit of sand.

Our recent stay was 114 (I think) to the right of the path to settlement, but never noticed the noise being an issue. It might be more noticeable in a pop up, but we didn't hear much in our mh - actually loved that site - could still hear the boat whistle and the electrical water pageant.

You didn't happen to be there for thanksgiving time frame in 2014 did you? (possibly in the 600 loop?)

We were there in late October, 800 loop, early departure first week in Nov of 2014, but had our two cows and cheeseheads/milk can with us. We mtypically have inflatable cows with cheeseheads on our golf cart! Just proud to be dairy farmers from Wisconsin, and of course, gotta love them Packers and Badgers. Loving life, and all it has to offer.

Well, I guess I'm glad I called two weeks ago and got a site in the 2000 loop. Called tonight and no availability for any premium or preferred sites. Guess we were meant to be in where they put us. Were a go with the flow family anyways.

I asked because we were there in Nov 2014 (Checked in on Thanksgiving and stayed for 10 days) and my DW found the following:

We absolutely love this display. I believe these Packer fanatics are usually found in the 700 loop, by the canal. Their inflatable is awesome. But, nope, not us, just another Fort family with great class!! We will be there the end of December 2015.
