Looper Magical Gathering----Thanksgiving week

Just wanted to post a little of our Thanksgiving trip. There were 18 of us for our Magical Gathering. This was the first time oldest DS was on vacation with us since 1999 (my DIL was with us, too.) We left home 11/20 and drove to Savannah, Ga..Stayed @Days Inn Historic District. Walked to City Market (bought a very reasonable framed Kinkade print for DS Christmas gift!) and then toured River Street. We love Savannah and always make it a part of our WDW vacation. Had a wonderful dinner (crab legs!) Left early 11/21 and drove to WDW. Stopped @Premier Outlets first for lunch and check out Disney outlet. Not much there this year. Explained pin trading to DS & DIL and they bought some for trading. Checked in @ASMovies and were all in Toy Story bldg. 10. I was thankful to be so close to food court and all of us were in rooms together. Went to Downtown for some shopping and dinner @Planet Hollywood. Food and service were both excellent! We had gift cards from Hotwire Savings Club. Went to MK 11/22---crowds were intense! Had character breakfast @Crystal Palace. It was pretty good, but I couldn't tell what had been done in the recent rehab. It looked the same to me. Ended up split from the group so I was with my 34 yr. old cousin from Canada. Was able to show her the highlights. The kids met us for dinner and they were able to do everything they wanted even with the crowds. It was a good day and we ended it exhausted.
