loop requests?

Last year I sent a fax about 1-2 weeks before our arrival requesting the 800 loop,(we got the 800 loop). So I was wondering since reading the thread on people's favorite loop, if other's did the same thing since they seem to always get the same loop.

from my experience it is a flip of the coin what you get. i was at fort wilderness at least 8 times last year probably more. and got the loops i wanted half of the time. on time i actually left my cmaer for a week. but it was in two different reservations for some reason. anyhow went there for halloween and when i got back the next week they made me move my camper fromm the 500 loop to another loop. and we had been told we had the same site for the next weekend. so it is tricky and was a pain in the but. but it depends on the time

We're 3 for 3 with site/loop requests. But we usually go during Nov/Dec when it's relatively slow, and we also usually give them our top 3 sites. So far we've gotten #1 and #2.

Of course we also book Preferred Pet, which these days pretty much guarantees 300... which also happens to be our favorite loop.

Do you have to fax the request in? I just called and told the Disney CM that I would like to request loop 1300 on my reservation. I did the same last year..requested 500 in March and we got 500.

I am really looking forward to my stay at the Ft. Wilderness Resort and Campground and am writing about campsite requests. I do understand that these are only requests and cannot be guaranteed.

If possible, I would like a site in Loop xxxx with a site that will accomodate the following: (list your "stuff" here) and near (whatever you want to be near).
