during spring break. This was not something I planned. MIL called last night and offered to book us a timeshare for spring break. So now I have to figure out how to pay for everything else. Our old tickets are pretty much out of days too (I think we have 1 or 2 left). How come whenever someone gives me something for free, it winds up costing me money? ;)

No, really I'm grateful and happy, just a bit flustered.

How exciting! You have a few months to plan. :goodvibes Can you add days to the tickets you have?

:cheer2:

Wish we were going over spring break!!! 2013.... come ON 2013!!!

Have fun trip planning!

I'm not sure that will be cost effective really. I may just have to bite the bullet and buy new 10 day hoppers. The ones we have lasted us through 3 trips.

Maybe this can be the year that you limit your time in Disney to the days that you have left your passes while visiting some of the other attractions that Orlando has?

You might be able to save a little money by getting Orlando Flex tickets instead of Disney 10 day passes. It would be about $300 cheaper per adult for the 2012 Flex pass vs. a 10 day hopper with no expiration. It might help your budget a bit.

Good idea. Universal also has a 14 day ticket for US, IOA, and Wet & Wild for 174.99. Right now Seaworld has kids free with full price adult. Not sure if the Lego pepsi promotion is still going on, but there seems to be several places where you can get coupons to get kids free there too. We're doing a non-Disney vacation over thanksgiving holiday and we're very excited about it!

If you are set on doing Disney for the 10 days then you could get just base tickets and not hoppers. That will save you a nice chunk.

I was thinking of buying 10 days non expiring and using only 3 days of them and using the one day I have left on my current tickets. I would love to do Universal for a day as well and we haven't been to Seaworld in ages. I'll have to run the numbers and see.

I also tend to use the hopping feature a lot so I'd prefer to pay for that if I can swing it.
