I am thrilled that we have this new board... but I am not sure I understand the questions here... it is a board for Dis Meets... like Glo's Labor Day weekend...or any of the others that are being discussed... hope I helped with your inquiries...
WHat a great board additin...I am so glad it is offered. Now we have a place for all the meet pictures...Can we get back some of the old archived ones?
My question was, and is...does this mean that DIS meet discussions are no longer allowed on the CB (ie, will be moved to the appropriate board...this one), so that in order to know that there is a DIS meet coming up you need to specifically come to and check THIS board rather than seeing any mention of it on the CB? I'm sorry...I thought my first post was clearer.
Hi Mare,
we are still working out the details on that. We are probably going to allow a thread on the Community board to announce the meet and then all follow up orginizational stuff, party reports etc will be over here. We won't be moving anything untill we work it out and announce it.
Ah! Thank you Alex!! For a minute there (or more) I thought I was just stupid for not understanding how it was going to work.
Will the original CB post be a sticky thread (or whatever they're called)? Highlighted?? I think they tend to get bypassed, but just an announcement with no additional posts allowed would just move off the CB front page. Maybe "bumps" are allowed? (No answers required...just putting out some thoughts. )
This is fantastic. A place for DISmeet announcements. Kinda like the old Magical Meetings page only much better. Thanks for providing a new home for the DISmeeters. Bravo!!!
This is going to be so helpful. Easier to find the photographs of DIS Meets and I won't be likely to miss out on any meets near enough for me to attend
Alex has a post on the cb about where to post about DIS meets, etc. His post is right <b>HERE</b
I'm really glad we have this board, I think it is going to be very helpful
I think it's a great idea to have all the info for DIS meets in one place. It was hard to search the Community Board for info, especially when the search function wasn't available at times.
