Hello all!

My wife and I are planning our excursions for our cruise coming up in January and one of the stops is Lookout Cay. Wondering if anyone has ever done the snorkeling excursion there? How was it? Was it worth the time to do it? We’re kind of on the fence about it. Thanks!

This is from another thread in September,

Has anyone done the Tropical Reef Safari Snorkel excursion at Lookout Cay?

We will be going to Lookout Cay in a few weeks. I love to snorkel so I signed up for the Tropical Reef Safari Snorkel tour. I can't seem to find any reviews about it. Has anyone done this tour by chance?

Wanted to let you know that I LOVED this tour! They take you out about 15 minutes away to this huge reef with so many beautiful fish and coral to see. You get to snorkel for one hour and it was amazing. It was one of the best snorkeling I have ever done! I went on the 10:30 tour and still had plenty of time to enjoy the beach. The regular beach is so beautiful with crystal clear water. We saw just a few fish over there but it's probably a luck thing. We didn't try to snorkel at the beach. Please ask any other questions if you have any.

We were booked to do one in Dec but it was cancelled a few weeks ago. They may still be shaking out which operators they'll keep? It was this one: Snorkel by Boat (LPT-12).

Edit: actually it looks like the tropical reef one is still available so I misspoke. We chose not to switch to it because its departure is at lunchtime - 11:45am. This is our first visit to the island, so we want to be sure to try their offerings.

We have the tropical reef booked for 9:00am thankfully. I’ll try to remember to reply to this post when/if we end up doing it 😅. Thanks for your input!

Not much to see versus castaway. We snorkeled from shore but not as fun as cataway. Not sure where excursion goes
