Has anyone had the opportunity to try either one of these excursions? How were the buggies(not talking about the flies)? Do you get time to spend time at a beach? Was it worth it?

Someone in my cruise social group page did the 4 person buggy. They would not recommend it due to the space especially if you have tall people in your group. They would do it for the 2 person buggy. I have heard mixed reviews on equipment. Some said it was fine some said they should update it.

Someone said they met at the gathering tree meet up, rode a bus and then was dropped off to someone's house where they had the equipment

Seems to me that DCL/tour provider should have had enough time to upgrade any less than DCL quality equipment.

They are still sharing equipment with the several other cruise ships on the island. They just have a DCL day now. And not enough money to fix it yet until the DCL money starts flowing.

So I have a question, looking at the 2 person buggy ride. Is it 249 per person or if you book 2 at 249 could up to 4 people ride since its a 2 person buggy?

What happens if you have a solo rider will they be paired with another party?

Found this buggy tour. They have been in business for over 5 years. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are the vendor for DCL.

And being in the Caribbean in a beachy area, pristine condition for equipment fades very quickly. Disney does not own nor maintain vendor equipment.

Do a search for Princess Cays dune buggy, possibly add Cruise Critic, to see what other cruise ships’ passengers have experienced.

I’m going with the title and the description. “Per 4 Person Buggy.” That would also mean they are not putting solos / strangers together. It brings down the cost pp if you have 4 people in your reservation.

• Reservations are booked on a per-vehicle basis.
• Vehicles have an automatic transmission and can accommodate up to 4 Guests.
• Helmet and goggles are mandatory during the tour and will be provided.
• All vehicles are booked per vehicle, have an automatic transmission and can accommodate up to 4 Guests.

Thanks! I really appreciate this, and your logic is sound, I wanted to bump this and see if anyone has actually has done this. At our booking window, there was no indication of 2 per and it simply asks how many people, then wants to charge us for 4 passengers.

I have listed 4 as of right now, pricing really is not clear to me but I will go back to the activities page tomorrow and see if its changed.
