Have you thought about the College Program? It might be easier to get your foot in the door that way then move around from there.
+1 If you're in college, do the College Program. I did it twice; I ended up moving on to a completely different career but I highly value those memories and having done the program is a bit of an "in" if I ever apply to work for any part of Disney. It's kind of a safe way to see if you
really like working there (and a lot of people do stay or come back!).
If you're not in college...then yeah, follow the link Alesia posted. As I understand it Disney is more likely to hire you if you already live in the area, so keep that in mind. Another thing to keep in mind...well, I hate to say it, but the pay for an average WDW cast member simply is not very good. You'd be above minimum wage, but not by much. Maybe it's worth it to you and maybe it's not; sometimes I regret not making a career out of WDW, but the job I ended up with pays much better and I live at a higher level of comfort (and savings ability) than I would if I'd stuck it out as a cast member.
Still, if you want to do it, do it. You can always try it for a couple years and then go do something else. Me, I've just promised myself that when I'm ready to retire from my "real" career I'll head down to Florida and take a job there. I think I'd get bored being retired and not having work to do, and by then I should have enough saved that I can deal with the pay being low.
