How much time do you spend in the laundry room ironing your stuff every day? Sounds silly, but we all iron everything we wear ...even tees...everyday...didn't realize we couldn't have an iron...even one from Disney...in the room. Doesn't everybody look wrinkled all the time?

Even if you do iron, if you step on deck there's quite a breeze.
We just "Let It Go."

Honestly, who cares. I can understand dinner clothing for pictures, but shorts & Ts? Enjoy your vacation!

Maybe on embarkation, ask your stateroom host for extra hangers. Then you can go down to the laundry room when your luggage arrives and iron everything at once. You may miss the first night's show and dinner, but at least you won't be terribly wrinkled for the whole rest of your cruise.

Or, since you're on vacation, just send everything out to be pressed. Just make sure you set aside a few extra dollars to have it done - it will only be $2.25-$3.50 per piece

I went once on our last cruise, because I didn't realize something was wrinkled, and spent about 5 minutes in there. We had already sent out all of the other items that needed ironing; this was all for evening wear. I also use downy wrinkle release, which helps A LOT! I'm with above, I wouldn't worry about shorts & tees either, but if it's more important to have a tee unwrinkled than enjoy the vacation, the laundry is super easy.

I iron nothing on vacation... if you iron it before you pack it and fold it with tissue paper, most items will not need re-ironing upon arrival...

I take the downy wrinkle release spray...usually the travel size is good for me and three other people on a seven day cruise. This is odd, but I actually roll my clothes (neatly of course) rather than traditional folding and I seem to get fewer wrinkles. Most of my items don't need it, just certain materials seem to wrinkle easily.

If it is important to you, choose a state room near the guest laundry room and the included iron and board. I bring a bottle of spray starch in my 3-1-1 bag. And then I enjoy the Disney music while I press our clothes. On our first DCL cruise, I still remember listening to the music from Up while at the ironing board. -- Suzanne

We put our clothes that were wrinkled in the bathroom and let the steam from the shower work its magic.

You can send things to the laundry for pressing. I believe the price is half of the dry cleaning price. I usually send a few dresses down on the first day. Shorts and t-shirts... I don't iron those at home so I sure wouldn't spend any of my vacation time doing it!

Anybody heard of Downey wrinkle free? Works wonders. I haven't ironed in 30 years. I take it everywhere. You can get travel size at TArget or CVS

I understand as I don't like the idea of wearing a wrinkled shirt either. I took a bunch of Downy wrinkle release with me on both cruises I was on. Before bed each night, I spray down whatever shirt I'm going to wear the next day with this. A non-wrinkled shirt by morning!! Works great and makes the room smell nice too!

Oh to be able to get that wrinkle release spray here in England :(

Does it work on skin too?!!! :goodvibes:rolleyes1

You will be wrinkled, and however your hair is naturally will be how it is on the cruise. DW and I love the first night or 2 on the cruise watching folks who clearly spent time on their hair, and by day 2 realize the wind and humdity make blow drying and curling a waste of time.

Downey wrinkle is the way to go. I love the stuff and haven't used an iron in forever.

None for me, but I barely iron at home either :)

Since we drive down I normally hang all the clothes I am concerned about wrinkling in the car and leave them there until just before we leave the hotel the morning of the cruise. Then I place them in the garment bag but wait to fold up the bag till we get to port drop-off. I close it, lock it and then the minute it arrives in the room I take everything out and hang them in the closet. Doing this the clothes are only in the bag for a few hours. This really helps me not get wrinkles. I know not everyone can do this but it certainly helps me out

I don't like wrinkles either. Anything that I want to wear without wrinkles I give to our stateroom host the first day - to send out to be pressed. The price is way better than a regular dry cleaner.
