Looking to rent Vistana from owner!

Hi all,

I'm not sure how to do this, but we are looking for a Vistana 2 bed/2 bath or larger for the week of December 1st, 2013. We could do Saturday through Saturday or Sunday through Sunday.

Any ideas how I go about finding someone? Is there a Vistana owner's board or something like that?

You can scan the for rent ads, or post (membership required, but very inexpensive) a rental wanted ad. I posted a "wanted" ad for a specific date and had about 6 responses in under 24 hours.

Couldnt you rent directly through vistana? Im sure an owner might be cheaper but you never know.

I sometimes rent my Vistana weeks if you want to PM me. I'd have to check to see if it is too late for me to grab that week for this year. I usually just let the points autodeposit if I have no plans to use the week.

GoofyFigment, yes, I can rent directly from the resort. That is what I have done in the past. Others have suggested that this is better in some ways, so I'm trying it.

No matter what, though, SVR is our only choice. We love it there!
