Hi. We are in the market to buy a trampoline. My DD is 11 and it would prob. be her and a small handful of friends using it. Can you give me suggestions as to size, brand name, price, and how easy it is to put together? Don't really want to spend more than $300 if possible. Some stores by me are Target, WalMart, BJs. Plus we'd like easy assembly :)

Thanks so much!

I think my first step would be to check with your homeowner's insurance and make sure that the trampoline will be covered. (This topic has been covered ad nauseum on this board.)

Trampolines are not allowed from our insurance company. Not just not covered, not allowed. If we got one and they found out, we would be cancelled.

I agree-and insurance companies DO spot check and if you file a claim, it won't be covered, period. Not worth putting your financial future at risk in my mind so my suggestion is don't get one.

I will echo what the others have said. Trampolines are fun, and I wouldn't suggest you NOT get one, if you really want one. But you must check with your homeowner's insurance first. It will probably be a hefty premium to have the trampoline, especially if neighborhood friends are coming to use it.

But, if they are willing to cover you on it, and you are willing to pay the premium, than go ahead and get one. They really are a blast! You really don't want to go cheap on them, either.

Sorry - didn't realize I asked questions that were asked a million times. I'll do a search.

Every single one of our neighbors have tramps. If I could make a suggestion to you. Have a hole dug and put it in ground. That way if the kids fall off they are on the ground.
