If we can fit in 10 days then we will have maybe 3 at US.....is it walkable from Loews Royla Pacific to the parks?? Sure doesn't look it from the sky!!

Not sure about Royal Pacific but i walf from Portofina to the universal parks.

When i went a few years ago. as i just missed the boat. And couldnt be bothered to wait. The walk took 15 mins ish if i remember right.

Was a nice walk 2.

Its a leisurely 10 minute stroll on the footpath which runs along side the waterway into citywalk - the path comes out at the side of Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.

If you were feeling less energetic you could always use the complimentary water taxis !!!

It's mainly the FOL that makes me want to stay there (and its looks the nicest to me out of the 3 US hotels), that way we can do it on a weekend and still get to do most things.

We have stayed at the RPR on a few occassions, it is a fantastic hotel.

The pool area is so relaxing and never seems to get crowded.

The FOL privillege is one of the major benefits of staying on site at Universal, it's great to 'flash your room key' at the express entrance and bypass the regular lines !!!

You also have all the facilities at citywalk within walking (or staggering) distance to your room... particularly good after a night on the 'pop' !

If you decide to stay, you must try Emerils Tchoup Chop - it is our favourite restaurant and possibly one of the best dining experiences in the Orlando area !

just back from our 3rd stay at Universal and at the RPR which is our fav resort ,although have not stayed at HRH yet.
its about 7 mins to Citywalk , or 700 steps [mine are quite small steps] measured it this time.
Pool area was very quiet this year ,except for the weekends when a lot of Floridans come as they get special rates. They seem to have clamped down ,as i think on previous occassions people where using the hotels pools, you now need to show room keys for towels , and when ordering food and drinks, and they even approached people to see there room keys.
