Enjoyed this recent article from MiceAge. I like the sound of these plans to improve the look of the place.

sounds really good, will be great to have new things to keep going back for.

It sounds really good, but I have two comments regarding the last paragraph:

- I hope a "Soarin'" attraction will come to DLRP. But I hope they will make it a European version, and that we won't soar over California again! There is a lot of diversity in Europe, and I truely hope they will make a film showing that!

- I also hope they don't give us a copy of the WDW-Fantasmic. Although I absolutely love the one in California, I think the WDW-version is an insult. If they want a big night time spectacle, I hope they'll be creative and make a new one. Also, I can't imagine waiting in teh cold during winter time for something like that, unless it has heated seats, lol!

I agree - it would be wonderful!! ::yes::

But I don't think DLP could do any kind of Fantasmic type show, could they? :confused3 Too noisy for the locals?

I agree that re-hashing the exact same ride/attractions seen at WDW & DLC would be a mistake, but nobody can deny DS needs a bit more pizazz!

We was there in May and the (hopefully ive got this named right) Tower of terror seemed to be coming along nicely. It was very empty there last time aswell.

Here are a couple of photos of the building work at the Studio's park, taken at the beginning of June:

Interesting article, thanks for posting the link. It's interesting that the 3 'criticisms' are similar the the criticism aimed towards Disney's California Adventure when it first opened. Luckily, DLRP seems to be taking a better approach and is avoiding the poorly conceived 'A Bug's Land' that was added onto DCA to appeal to the under 6 crowd. The two new Pixar rides which are planned look wonderful.

(BTW, every time I see the title of this thread, I think that someone has posted tips on how to keep looking beautful while touring the studios - ie hair and makeup type tips! :rotfl: )

Ooops, I see what you mean!!!

When is Tower of Terror due to open at the Studios in Paris then?
I guess next year sometime?? :confused3

I have read october 2007. Hopefully it will be like that new ride in the Animal Kingdom which got opened well in advance of the predicted date.

hi everyone, haven't posted here for quite some time...

Expect ToT to open early 2008. But expect this date to shift quite a lot. It all depends on the weather (remember the bad weater a few months ago? It slowed down the construction of both construction sites).

I cannot WAIT to see all the new attractions at the Studios!
I'm really excited about Tower of Terrror, looks like it's really coming along.
On those web pages it said would be like California's Tower of Terror -- is that a lot different to WDW's? Anyonw know the differences, or is it just the exterior that looks different?

I am really looking forward to the new kids rides though I doubt they be open when we go in march, which is apart of my plan to get dbf to go back in November next year for Christmas at the HNY! It will be easier to talk him into it if there is new stuff there.

Don't think we will be going on TOT for a few years though, dd will not be going on it anyway!

As far as I know it's just the exterior that's different between DL and WDW. Does anyone else know for sure?!
