looking for waitlist advice

We are hoping to stay at AKLV from Dec 5-11. I can soon waitlist there at the 7 month mark. Is there any common knowledge or wisdom about what is a shorter list? Kindani? Jambo (we prefer)? Standard? Savanna? Any advice or experience would be welcome. We have only 1 wait list to play with as we are also waitlisting at BWV for a few nights (love that walk to Epcot)

Call MS and inquire which room booking category has the most amount of rooms. I think it will be Kiddani, Savannah View for all categories.

Also, keep calling to see if there is a match and ask the CM to check the dates each time.

Whoa I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone or something (ok bad Disney analogy ). But, how ironic that Mich Mouse just had an experience with waitlisting (see their thread they started) and definitely take their advice for calling often http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2451435

Standards are always the easiest to get a AKV, so that would be your best bet. And yes call frequently, you never know what wil pop up.
