Probably something with angel food cake or pound cake, strawberries, cool whip & maybe blueberries. I've seen some recipes that add pudding also. Any recipes that are tried & true to celebrate the 4th?

Yes, you can add some pudding to your trifle, but be sure to use instant pudding, rather than the kind you cook. I really like to use French Vanilla flavor.

If you're not going to be sharing the dessert with kids, you can also sprinkle a little brandy or other liqueur over the angel food cake before you add the layer of pudding and the fruit. :woohoo:
