I am always looking for ways to save money, and tickets, as everyone knows, are the hardest thing to save money on. Please start a list of any and all of the best kept secrets for saving money on tickets.

(if there are any, that is!)

Any input at all is appreciated!!

We bought our tickets through hotwire, you can do a search on the boards to find more info on hotwire if you'd like. Here are the prices of their tickets:
You won't be able to see the prices at Hotwire unless you are a member, or at least I wasn't able to. Here's the prices:
4 day PHP adult = 208.96
4 day PHP child = 167.75
5 day PHP adult = 248.27
5 day PHP child = 199.38
6 day PHP adult = 276.07
6 day PHP child = 221.42
7 day PHP adult = 302.90
7 day PHP child = 242.51

Here's the link to check it out though:
Hotwire http://www.hotwiresavingsclub.com/hsc/index.asp

You can also look at Paramount International
And here's the link to PI
Paramount http://www.gopitravel.com/orderTickets.asp

I found these as well as a couple others at ww.mousesavers.com, but Hotwire seemed like the best deal on the 7 PHP.

I also received my tickets from hotwire. They were the cheapest tickets I could find.

I also purchaed Universal tickets there too.

There is no charge for shipping and the first 30 day membership is free and they offer a 10$ rebate on 1st purchase.

Good luck on your search.

Another option for purchasing tickets, if you don't want to join Hotwire, is a service called Ticketmania.com.

Prices were the fairest I'd seen.
4day PHP = $218 (adult) / $172 (child)
I also got Gatorland and Space center passes through them as well. No shipping charges.

Also, I got $8 refunded to me when I explained I was a "mousesaver." I think it was for the Disney tickets.

Andrew was very helpful via email.

One suggestion I heard from others was to photocopy the magnetic strip side of the disney passes and keep it back in the room. If you lose your passes, you can go to Guest Relations and they will help you by getting you the balance of the addmission days that were left on the tickets. You never know if they'll do it for sure, but it's a cheap insurance policy.

I've seen this before somewhere. What does <<bump>> mean?

I bump to get the auto emails of postings in threads that i'm interested in

also makes finding threads easier, by searching the ones you've posted comments to

I think it depends on how many days you want tickets for. We are going for two weeks and I didn't want to have to squeeze our park trips into very long days to make the most of the tickets. Hotwire does seem to sell the cheapest park hopper tickets and that was what I was going to purchase (7 day/4+options) until the new Fun in the Sun Tickets came out. My tickets were $311 for adults and 251 for child's ticket and is good for 30 consecutive days of use, includes a free character breakfast voucher and also includes admission to Kennedy Space Center and some other area attractions (small ones). For us, this ticket came out cheaper. We did pay a $15 shipping charge. Right now, I believe Paramount Travel is the only company selling them.
