Hello,
We will be in Orlando 4/5-4/12. My DH and I are 46 y.o. and will be with 4 teenage boys. These guys are all very laid back and willing to do just about anything. I'm looking for low-budget options. When we stayed at the Boardwalk at Disney, we had several nice evenings just wandering the boardwalk. Is there anything like that at the on-site Universal hotels? We are staying off-site (budget reasons with 6 of us travelling), but will have our car. Thanks for any ideas.

There is almost always free entertainment at Citywalk. Tour the hotels in the evening, making sure you are at the PBH for the singers in the piazza. For those that stay onsite, pool hopping is always a great way to spend the evening.

Last night, there were several replies to this post that had some great ideas for night-time activities. Today they are gone? The answers mentioned using the boats to go visit the ons-site hotels. Is that a no-no since we're not staying onsite? I don't get it. We were just going to visit, dine in some of the restaurants and check out the hotels for a future visit in October. Well, thanks anyway to damo, metro west and momandseandodisney. You had given some great advice, and luckily I had written it down last night.

I didn't realize that I had started a very similar thread on the US/IOA boards, and that's where all my answers are. So sorry. I think I need to stop doing this stuff so late at night.
