Hello.....I am looking for tea (NOT NESTEA) in WDW.......I am currently 14 weeks pregnant , and have been very nauseous.....but we are currently in the process of planning a trip to WDW for the end of SEPT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hot brewed tea or brewed iced tea seems to help a little with the nausea and I was wondering where in WDW resorts or parks they have a good cup of tea.....I will need it:rolleyes1

TIA:love::flower3:

I don't know about elsewhere, but the Joy of Tea stand in Epcot's China has several different teas.

Congratulations!

Most TS locations will offer hot tea or unsweetened iced tea. Not sure how may CS locations will have brewed tea. Probably places like Main Street Bakery will have hot tea.

I think it's fairly easy to find hot brewed tea. Real brewed Iced tea I'm not so sure of. If anything, bring a handful of tea bags with you and you can just get a cup of hot water and make your own? Some tea flavors might be better on your stomach and might not be available in the parks.

Trails End at Fort Wilderness has GREAT sweet tea. May be too sweet with morning sickness, but it's the best tea I've found so far! ;)

I usually bring my own tea bags from home and keep it in a small zip lock bag.

First off, congratulations on your new addition to be!

As a tea drinker myself, I always pack a ziploc of tea bags with me as there are never any in the rooms. Alot of the "sit down" restaurants also offer Twinings tea (this includes breakfast). You can also purchase all the brands of Twinings in the UK gift shop at EPCOT.

The best to you!

I would definitely agree with a lot of the posters here to bring along some of your own tea. Plenty of sit down places offer an assortment of teas (try the Gardenview Tea at the GF if you want an experience! It's lovely!) But as far as CS goes, you might be stuck with whatever option they have. If you have your own bags with you, they'll probably give you the hot water for free...it's worth a shot anyway.

I would pack herbal peppermint and whatever non-caffeine tea's you enjoy and just ask for a pot of hot water. Congrats!!

First off congrats. Second i was just thinking isn't funny how different things help different people. With DD it was 7 skittles not 6 or 8 it was 7. With another friend of mine it was silvered almonds. Good luck with your planning & trip. Hopefully by the time you go it will be :mickeybar much easier to find.

Is it possible to get sweet tea from Trails End at the HDDR? We always go into sweet tea withdrawal when we leave the South! :yay:

Many restaurants will bring out a tea selection for your hot tea. The ones I remember are Grand Floridian Cafe, Rose&Crown, Raglan Road ect. I needed mint tea to soothe my Crohn's Disease so I bought bags and carried some in case I couldn't get what I needed. I also made tea in the moring at pop food court using the steaming water dispenser by the coffee. Pop had tea bags out, maybe lipton not sure.

This will sound crazy, but McDonald's actually has good brewed sweet iced tea. So you can get that at Downtown Disney or if you have a car, there's a McD's near the All-Stars resorts. (It was being remodeled but I would guess it's open again.)

For hot tea, believe it or not, Typhoon Lagoon.

When were there in late July, we had a somewhat cloudy day and a tad bit cool that morning. They have a stand there that serves lattes, coffee, and tea. I had them make me a cup of English breakfast. The CM used loose tea, put it in a mesh bag, and brewed it for me. I couldn't believe the sophistication at the water park!:lmao: I didn't think to check on how their iced tea was brewed or even if they served it at that stand.

I forgot WolfGang Puck Express in DTD has great Tea & the refill it at your table.

Last year when we were at CBR, they had added a "new" tea feature to the drink stand. I can't remember the name, but it had brewed tea in it, with a button to push if you wanted sweet tea. I found it half way through our trip and it was so nice to have "real" tea and not the Nestea stuff. I hesitated to try it at first because it was between the coffee and hot choc. so I thought it was hot tea, but I was pleasantly surprised. I hope you are able to find some, I know tea was one of the things that helped me when I was pregnant as well, but that was a few years ago!!!
