Looking for suites that can be easily cancelled

I am trying to find a suite/condo that can be easily cancelled a few days before our trip. I have a broken foot, and if the cast is not off I do not want to go on the trip due to the heat in June. It should be off a week before we go.
So far I found caribe royale for 4 nights. My kids want a pool home, but I don't want to commit to that. We will be going to Sea World, MK and Epcot. Also driving to the coast. Any suggestions?

Try emailing Romancing the Mouse:

Explain your situation to them and see if they can work with you. I don't know if they will or not, but it is worth trying. I know they have availability in June. Tell them you have a referral from DIS Boards and you will get a discount.:thumbsup2

I am guessing you may have to go with a suite hotel where you can cancel closer to your date.

Good luck!

How about any of the Residence Inn's or Embassy Suites in the area? You should be able to cancel them up until the night before arrival for no charge. They would give you the extra space and a free breakfast to boot.

Good luck to you!!

Residence Inn Lake Buena Vista or Residence Inn Sea World can both be cancelled within 3 days of your arrival. They have 2 bed/2 bath suites, with living area and fully equiped kitchens. The rates during the time we are going are $116 and $127 (with AAA discount), not sure what they are for June, but you might want to check that out. I was going to stay at one of those during our stay, but decided to opt for a little more room.

Really, any marriott property, or hiltons too (Homewood suites have 2 bed/2bath), are really nice and the rates are reasonable. Actually, I think most marriott or hilton properties require 3 days cancellation. More comparable to a condo are Marriott Grande Vista, Sabal Palms, Imperial Palms, Cypress Harbour and Harbour Lake, but they cost more as well (not sure how the rates compare to Carribe Royale). Hilton has the Hilton Grand Vacations Club on International Drive and Hilton Grand Vacations Club Seaworld right across from Seaworld too. All of these properties look beautiful and are very spacious for a hotel property (1200+ square feet), we are staying at Marriott Grande Vista ($161 per night plus tax for 2 bed/2 bath room) in Sept.

Good luck! :)

Thanks, I was able to get the 5 nt. Sea World package at Residence Inn for a 1 BR. The deal was really good and I can cancel up to 72 hours.

Holiday Inn now owns Orange Lake, so if you book through the HI website, it's treated like a hotel reservation, you can cancel up to 24-hours before your scheduled arrival. Orange Lake has different sized units - hotel unit, studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedrooms.....and the HI site let's you book into the village you want (West, East, North or South).....since it's treated like a hotel reservation, you can cancel up to 6:00pm day of your check-in - if you don't cancel before that, or just don't show, it's a one night charge no matter how long your ressie was for. I think rates run around $100 a night for a 1-bedroom and $125 for a 2-bedroom?
