I am looking for something special to do for me and my wife's anniversary trip. We have been to Disney several times and i'm looking for something new to do. I have booked us for the fireworks desert party in the MK, and am looking for something different along those lines. As much as i'd like to take out the breathless, or something like that, I really don't have the wallet for it. I'd love to hear any suggestions. Thanks!

Hi Mike,

Looks like we are going at the same time :) We are also celebrating an anniversary there - our 25th! We have done the Wishes Birthday Cruise in the past (boat on lake with cake to watch Wishes). It was pricey, but well worth it, that was 5 years ago and the kids still talk about it.

This time I am doing something special for my DH, he loves to fish. So I scheduled a fishing excursion for him. It is pricey too! But there is a coupon in the Birnbaum Guide and I also got one with our WDW Travel package for a discount. I was trying to keep it a secret from him, but he found an email I had left open about it, so that blew that surprise.

The only other thing we are doing "special" for our anniversary is having a night to ourselves. My DD and her friend are both 16 so they should be okay entertaining themselves for a few hours. We are going to eat at the Yachtsman Steakhouse and then walk over to Epcot and walk around the world showcase - with no kids!!!That is special in itself ;)

Besides that, not sure what else we might do. I have reserved our resort on the club level floor, no one knows about that yet. They will all get to enjoy that surprise.

Congrats and I am sure you will come up with something special.

Try some things you wouldn't of haven't done at WDW. You could rent a surrey bike, go fishing, take a horse carriage ride, see La Nouba, go waterskiing, have lunch at resorts you haven't been to, play golf/minigolf go dancing at the Boardwalk resort, ride the balloon at DTD, do the shark encounter, get the hidden mickey book and see what you could fine, collect all the pressed pennies in each park.

What about one of the tours? The Segway tour in Epcot, maybe?
It's our anniversary on our trip, too! I'm looking for something fun but inexpensive to do, so I'll be watching this thread. :)

You could try looking into a couples massage at one of the resorts. My husband wanted me to look into this, but our DD is only 3 and the kids have to be 4 to go to the kids clubs...so...we're gonna save that for next time. I can tell you, though, my DH scheduled a pre-natal massage for me a few years ago for Mother's Day at the GF and it was a little expensive, but amazing and well worth it IMO :cloud9:
