We were just there in December in a two bedroom by the activities center. Our unit was decent. The jets in the jacuzzi had mildew in them, handles were missing off of the master bedroom dresser, shelf pegs were missing on some of the kitchen shelves (the pots and pans were precariously stacked so that when you took one out, the shelf became unbalanced and everything fell), one of the burners on the stove didn't work and the washer is teeny tiny. I left this "laundry list" in the unit when I left, so hopefully they took care of the problems. They were not that big of a deal while we were there, just inconvenient. The screen porch stunk of cigarettes. There is no vacuum/broom in the unit. Shuttle service doesn't run ALL the time the parks are open (like the busses if staying on property). Wifi is available for in room purchase, but our reception was not worth the money I spent. It was very spotty and would go out at least every few minutes. It is available in the activities center and the main check in building.
OK, the good things... beds were comfy, the staff was nice and not pushy. Housekeeping was very nice when they came around on the 4th? day to change out towels and take trash. The refrigerators have ice makers in them. Super Target is less than a mile up the road for grocery shopping. Ample restaurants within walking distance. It's a short drive to Disney. The pool felt wonderfully heated!! The jacuzzi was hot and relaxing. The pool towels (available at the activities center, though no one told us that) are very nice. The location is suprisingly quiet even though it was off "hotel row". The rooms were very generous in size. Seating in both the eating area and couch area was plentiful. The second bathroom was also very generous in size.
Overall, it was nice, but we were used to staying at the DVC resorts on property and I missed "the magic". But if it's for a girls week and you don't need "Mickey magic", you'll have a great time. Family wise, with kids, I think I'll pass on staying again.
