Looking for snowsuit (cheap / clearance)

Hello ...

I was hoping someone here could help me in my search!! At our school we sponsor a family involved with CAS. The family we are sponsoring is actually a family from my school. Part of the family is twin boys and I have one in my class. He has a jacket that is a size 3x and it is MUCH too small. His brother is really tiny and he is a head or so taller and stockier. I'd like to give a snowsuit or jacket to our collection for them, but am limited in what I can afford to spend! I've checked clearance in Sears and I'm going to check Zellers ... but does anyone have any ideas for a good new snowsuit that is a good price??? I'm thinking about $25 or so. Seen any stores with good clearance deals or such???? I thought it would be nice to donate for his sake He was cold outside today ... his sleeves are halfway to his elbows!!!

Last winter Childrens Place had their winter jacket & snow suits on sale really cheap, maybe again this year. I was also at Please Mum tonight & they have all they had a sale on all outer wear 50% off. This is in BC. Hope this helps you out

I second that. I haven't checked Childrens Place because we got ours early but if they are on sale, their jackets are the best. I hope you find something for the little guy. That's so tough.

You might want to try Craigslist. Sometimes you can dress a child for a year by buying second hand vs new. And kids don't care as long as they are warm.

Not sure if you're close to a Sears Outlet, but in the past I have found some great deals there. There are 2 outlets in Brampton, and one near Kipling @ Rexdale that I know of.

Do you cross border shop? I was in Target and got DS some new ski pants for $12 in the circo line. Not sure what size you need but these went up to a five and it looked like they had them in the bigger boys sizes too. The jackets were 20ish.. There is also the outlet mall in Niagara falls Ny too.

I was at Sears tonight and they have the snowsuits and coats for 40% off. I saw a pair of snow pants for 9.99 and with the 40% off it came to $6.00. They also had some coats in the the $20- $30 range, plus 40% off that.

A lovely parent came by the school two days ago and brought a bag of coats. There was a size 5 that had never been worn in the bag, so I gave it to the family for him to wear. I am going to look for some snowpants now to fit him too. Thankfully now he is warm!!!
