My dates are 4/30-5/4. Anyone know when the discounts for rooms will be released. I do have an AP.

Bumping & subscribing. We are looking into May 6-10.

My family usually goes this time every year, and usually around Jan or Feb every year they issue room only and Ap rates. Reduced rates for all Disney Resorts. They go pretty fast so grab them right when you see them. Some one on this website will give you the heads up or Mousesavers.com.

Like my fellow Disney Friends, I to am waiting for the codes for May to come out. I am a holder of a AP, as well as, a Florida resident. Going from May 13 through May 21 for a family Grand Gathering, with the rooms already booked and now I wait like all my Disney Friends for those codes to come in.

Take care.

When does the current promo expire? Maybe the next round will be closely after the expiration.

Waiting too....

I believe the current promo has to be booked by Dec. 1st. Personally I hope the codes for late April - May come out after the holidays or with plenty of warning!!

I'm determined to make it through the holidays without feeling stressed!

My Cousin and I are taking our girls the week before Memorial day weekend.....:hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
We want to get a good rate at AKL!! We have never stayed there before. I usually see good room only rates for that resort!!

Keeping our fingers crossed!!!

:wave2:

Will they have codes for the Dream Maker Package. We are going May 17 - 20 and planning on staying a POFQ. We are wanting to get the Dream Maker Silver Package. Do you think we should wait until January to book our trip? I do not want to run out of the King rooms at POFQ by waiting too long. What do you think?

You could always book early at rack rate, then change it later. If you wait you may run a chance of not getting the king room.

just booked for POfQ april 29-may 3 and CM said look real "fast" after holidays...

now for my nov poly trip, that's a wait...

I'm really hoping for WL or Contemp. The prices have been good for those resorts on recent promos.

I know I've posted this before, but feel the need to post again. Remember folks that the BIG 50th celebration kickoff is May 5th. With this in mind the resort crowds will be heavier around this Thursday and that weekend, possibility the entire week. Since it is the big official kick off of the celebration of Disneyland's 50th birthday there will be alot going on (new attractions openning, new celebration parades and activities). So my advice is to book early, book the resort you can AFFORD to pay at rack rate and HOPE for a discount. This will be a huge press event and rooms will be hard to come by. So to get a discount, there may be a need to split stays in order to get discounts on some days, while other days will not be available. I got nervous in July this year, when I called to reserve our room for April 30-May 7 and the CM told me that the CM discounted rooms were slim for that week and had to be booked under a different cast program than what we usually book under. I don't want to scare anyone, but want you to be prepared, financially and mentally, if you plan to visit late April-early May. I really hate reading threads that start out with "there are no discounted room during my stay and I called the first day..." When the discounts come out, don't hestitate if this is your desired time to go. In addition, I also booked the second week of May (7-14) and had no problem getting a normal CM discount on that week. (BTW: We are at Pop Century). Good Luck!

n2mm, i was thinking the same thing, and we are leaving the morning of may 4. we always do dd anyway on our last morning. unfortunely with our seasonal dates and dh and I's work, the pickins are slim. I am nervous about the big crowds. weird, I asked CM about that week, and she said she hasen't booked any rooms for that week yet!????? I thought that was really strange. she must have misunderstood my question. we booked POFQ, that way, if no discount, I won't have buyers remorse.
now our nov. trip is another story......::yes::

Do you think there is a chance that Disney might not release codes for May because of the big celebration? I plan on going in May, but haven't picked the dates yet. Maybe I need to get off the couch and get planning!:D

I think there will be discounts, I just don't think there will be many during the first week of May or around the weekend starting with May 5. I think the second week of May will be a little calmer or more normal. May tends to be busy with flower and garden, lots of school activities and other events. Once the kick off is on it's way, crowd levels should level out.

 Interesting thread with many good ideas and suggestions. We are booked for May 14 - 22 at The Poly and I have booked Councierge, we have a AP and if a rate doesn't some out for those dates.....WOW I will be cancelling. Much to think about. Lets keep this thread going so we will keep informed.

Thank you,

Angel

I didn't realize that there was a big celebration in 2005. The last time I went during a celebration was when the castle was decorated like a cake. I think it was the 25th. I think we stayed at the All star, and paid the full price.
Well, I guess crowds would be heavy the first few weeks. I'm hoping for AP's for the Contemporay, but I'll settle for Mod or Value if I have to pay rack rates.
