We got our annual passes this weekend and spent the day at IOA. Since we are new to Universal I've got some questions about some of the rides. Is there a guide like the one for disney that describes the parks and the rides.
Also I am a huge chicken when it comes to rides and the Forbidden Journey at Harry Potter is about the limit of what I can do. I'm just wondering about some of the other rides like the Twister ride, the mummy ride and MIB. I think I can handle the simpsons but I'm wondering about those other rides.
Am I correct in thinking that the spiderman ride is like a car that stays level and does not make any moves like sudden drops or stuff like that?

I know, I know ... Suck it up. I have until late November. I keep telling myself that if I can handle Splash Mountain's 52 foot drop, I can handle The Mummy.
A co-worker kept telling me, "It's the best ride in all of Universal! As soon as the ride ends, you'll want to get back in line for it, etc., etc." To be fair, though, we did Spiderman toward the end of our trip ... After Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and after The Simpsons (My favorite). It was a great ride, though, and I'm looking forward to riding it again.
