Hi, I'm looking for a place that serves ribs for lunch in Epcot and/or a place that servers ribs for dinner in Downtown Disney. This is for my son whose food choices are typically limited by his allergies, so I want to make sure there are a few meals he will really enjoy and ribs is high on his list!

Thanks,
Tana

The ribs in House of Blues at DTD were absolutely to die for!!! There is a picture in the link in my signature if you want to see them! I can't wait to go back!!!

It's in Animal Kingdom and I know it wasn't part of your question, but DD had the ribs there and said they were wonderful! She ate an adult portion slab ( they let us use her DP for it too-I am sure that is rare) and loved 'em.
I had the beef sandwich and looooved it! It was one of the few meals where I thought it was good enough to take a pic of the food!

We just had very delicous ribs at Wolf Gang Pucks on Thursday. They had an Asian sauce on them and were very tasty.

Thanks everyone for your feedback, it is very helpful in planning for my rib loving son! Also thanks sunnyday for mentioning AK, we're going to add that too -- actually sending the kids there with their grandparents around lunchtime one day so they can go to Flame Tree BBQ. I assume that is where you were referring to at AK?

Can you make reservations for HOB thru Disney and how much are ribs there?

"Fall Off the Bone" Baby Back Ribs - with Jim Beam BBQ sauce, mashed sweet potatoes and sauteed green beans. Half rack $14.95; Full rack $24.95

Also, we found lunch to be less crowded and easier to get into....dinner hour was a nightmare since you have to contend with all the guests going to see Cirque.

BTW, if you go to HOB, you HAVE to try the "Skillet baked rosemary corn bread with maple butter" .....to DIE for!!! :thumbsup2

are the ribs spicy or sweet? Also, is the menu price for ribs the same at lunch time and how are the portions?

I'm going by memory since we haven't eaten there since last January 2007, but I don't recall them being overly spicy or sweet. They have a "Jim Beam" sauce on them.....I don't like whiskey, but the sauce gave it a nice kick.

The prices are the same for lunch and dinner.....and I believe the portions were a very good size.
