Rates in Winter-CBR Vs. CR?

Looking for some advice/help: I have reservations with the winter discount code for the end of January at CBR for preferred rooms for I think $111.00 a night. Now my husband is able to go with us, and would like to stay at a monorail hotel-we are thinking of trying CR as we stayed at the Poly last time-if I switch will I be able to still apply the codes, and what can I expect from this hotel? I never stayed there but understand it is a bit cheaper than GF? Thanks for any advice/help. Just looking for ideas before I call and try to switch. Thanks all,

DH and I split our honeymoon stay at CR and CBR and love both resorts - we thought we would be disappointed with CBR since we had both stayed at CR with our parents years early but surprisingly, we loved CBR as much (if perhaps not more) than CR.

If you are going long enough, you could always do a split stay. As far as $$$ is concerned, it is most definitely the cheapest of all the monorail hotels - I believe the rate is $151 for a standard garden wing room.

Check out mousesavers.com as I believe there are still codes available in January - they only expired through the end of 2004.

Sorry - I misquoted. It is $151 a night for an AP rate and the regular room only discount rate is $164 - hope that helps!!

Call and keep calling up till Dec 1 the current codes are still valid. You may want to try using a travel agent to help secure what you want.

I just called using winter codes during value season (Jan. 30-Feb. 4 is my stay nights) and was told that the cheapest I could get a room at CR (standard garden wing) was $200 a night. That is what I was quoted, does that sound right? I used the winter code (or so the operator told me, anyway!) so that seems kind of pricey. I think maybe I got a bad operator or something, what do you think?
