Looking for recent visitors to dtd doubletree suites & evergreen cafe...

I'd love to hear some recent opinions of the Doubletree Suites at Downtown Disney. We had to change our reservation from POFQ (my DS unfortunately just lost her job) and I'd love to hear about recent experiences. I'm also interested to hear what their Evergreen Cafe is like - what kind of food they serve, prices, etc. I got the Mousesavers rate which includes 20% off at Evergreen Cafe. I'm wonderinmg if I should include a visit in our plans. I appreciate any input...Thank you!

My friends just stayed there in Feb with a Mousesavers rate as well. They got the free continental breakfast and that was plenty for them to start their day. They also got the 20% coupon but never used it. We visited them at the hotel and the rooms were nice, better than POFQ and bigger - thats for sure. Close to everything. They were very happy with the service as well. Have fun!

Thank you! That sounds Great. The only problem I can see with the breakfast is that my son & niece aren't included since they're over age 12. But we'll make do. I still have yet to find anyone who's eaten dinner at the Evergreen, though. I guess I'm just too obsessive a planner, LOL. Thanks again!
