Looking for rainy day activities

Before it’s suggested, let me state that I know that a rainy day at Disney is better than a sunny day anywhere else:) Typically, we throw on ponchos and go about the day as if it were sunny skies.
However, I’m curious as to what suggestions you have to do if we don’t want to get rained on.
Are there any activities that you loved to do indoors at Disney on rainy (or any other) days outside of the hotels?

We always take a board game or two and some Uno cards and find a nice spot in the resort to have a drink and play.

This is our first time staying off site. Got an amazing deal on a hotel, and I’m hoping it’s not a “get what you pay for” deal :) I’m hoping we like it, esp after coming off an amazing AKL stay last time! We always love finding the fun activities and spots around our Disney resorts, but because I’m nervous about the resort, I’m wondering what to do at the parks in case I want out of the hotel. Hopefully it won’t be an issue- fingers crossed!

Hopefully it will be fine!

At the parks you can shop (we could spend forever in the store in Japan in WS), or take in one of the longer attractions or films. Go see a movie or bowling at DS!

The shopping suggestion of Shellyb84 can be fun. Out of the 40+ days we have spend at WDW the single best was a rainy day at Epcot with my then 12 year old daughter. The rain kept the rest of her extended family in the hotel. I spend 10+ hours walking with her as she shopped in the rain. Epcot was virtually deserted so we hit all the indoor rides and she was able to spend a ton of time talking with various merchants. As the father of a now teen I treasure these times a lot.

I didn’t realize they had bowling there! That’s a good one-thanks!
