Hi all,

I'm hoping one of you Photoshop whizzes can help me here...I have PSE4 and I'm trying to output a slideshow I've created. The only way it seems that I can output is to create a Windows Media Viewer file, and then click the burn option on the drop down file menu. Whenever I try to copy directly from the Photoshop file, I get an error saying that Photoshop has encountered an error and has to close. My major issue at this moment is that when I create a Windows file and burn the show to a DVD, it won't play in a DVD player, I assume because DVD players don't "speak" to .wmv files...

If anyone can help me, I would so appreciate it. I am so frustrated I'm ready to heave both computer and slideshow out the window :badpc: . Thanks!!

Chris

I love this program:

http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/

I have a crappy dvd player that only plays mpeg-1. With this program you can convert any files to almost anything! I converted my quicktime .mov files to mpeg-1. It isn't the easiest program to understand but I just open the
one(s) I want to convert and click what I want to convert them to in the bottom left then at the top one of the drop down menu's have the option to start transcoding. It even saves a new file automatically and doesn't save over your original file! HTH!

jeninpa,

Thanks for the help, I will download that program and give it a try. I'm still fighting with Photoshop but your suggestion will solve my other problem...thanks so much!!!!

Chris
