Looking for Pretzel Rings

It's that time of year for holiday cooking and I can't find those round, hollow pretzel rings. Last year I found these at Aldi but haven't seen them yet. Has anyone found these this year? I don't know if I am looking too early or if I am late and they are sold out.

If anyone has another place to buy these please let me know. Thanks

I haven't checked this year but they didn't have the hollow rings last year. Aldi was the only place I could find that carried a round pretzel. I have just had my knee replaced (2 1/2 weeks ago) and I can't shop in person yet. I have to rely on my husband to shop. He does well but it helps if I can tell him where to find things.

I put a Hershey kiss in the middle, bake on low heat until the kiss is soft, then smoosh a green or red M&M in the middle. Voila - pretzel candy.

Pretzel Candy
1 bag ring pretzels or squares
1 bag Hershey Kisses or Hugs
1 bag M&M's in red and green

Preheat oven to 200F. Line baking sheet with non-stick foil.

Put pretzel rings on foil-lined cookie sheet. Put Kiss or Hug in the center. Bake 3-4 minutes or until candy is soft, but NOT melted.

Remove pan from oven and push M&M into center of candy. Refrigerate 5-10 minutes to set. Store in airtight container.

The one thing I can add is that I found the Hershey Hugs to work much better than the plain chocolate. I tried several times last year and just couldn't get the plain chocolate to melt just right. It turned hard instead of just melty like the Hugs. And I experimented with a lot of temperature and time combination. If anyone has the right combination for the plain chocolate Kisses I would appreciate that.

Does Kroger have the hollow rings this year? Last year I could only find twists and pretzel rods at our local Kroger. This would be fantastic! I'll have to send my husband out to look.

Asta I used the normal pretzels, baked them with the chocolate and got the m&m as fast as I could, then I stuck them in the fridge to chill till we ate them.

The recipe I posted above was the time/temp combo I got to work for regular chocolate Kisses.

I found them at my local Kroger, but supplies were scarce. If he doesn't find them, he may have to ask - that's what I did last year.

We do something similar - (but haven't in a couple of years...just because we picked other recipes).

We didn't use hershey kisses - we just laid out the pretzel rings on wax paper, and then put about a teaspoon or so of melted chocolate in the pretzel, then added the M&M. We would do this with both regular chocolate and white chocolate. Then - if we were feeling festive - drizzle a little of the "opposite" chocolate on top.

Super easy.

The last time we made these- we purchased a "local store brand" of the pretzels - as even a couple of years ago - it was harder to find the pretzels.

We find the pretzels at our Baker's (Kroger) every year but I was there last night and didn't see them -though I wasn't really looking yet either. We use melting chocolate w/the holiday m&m's and call them bellybutton cookies. My kids love them!

Instead of Hersheys or MnMs I use Rolos. They're so good!

I was at Target this morning and they were stocking the end cap with the ring holiday pretzels!

I use the mini pretzel twists and when they have a red Mand m, they look a bit like Rudolph
