hi everyone.

need a hotel for two nights after our disney cruise. we are looking for place that has a great kids pool or spray park type pool.

any suggestions? thinking the Nick hotel may be too crazy.

thanx everyone

some people like the sheraton safari.

don't leave your kids alone here - these places do not have lifeguards. So sometimes the teens will act like teens - and forget that anyone else exist.

I haven't stayed there, but I know my brother's little girl LOVED it at the Nick hotel. They have a live cam somewhere around the pool, and she called her friends and told them to look at her on the internet! :rotfl2:

I'd check out the following resorts....all of them have great pools that the kids would love.

Marriott Resorts - Grande Vista, Horizons, Cypress Point (Go to the marriott.com website and type in your dates...but put M11 in the promo code to see if there are any member rates available. You can then sign up free online for the Marriott Rewards.) You can see the resorts on www.vacationclub.com

Orange Lake Country Club
Radisson Resort Parkway - very nice hotel...close to Disney with beautiful lagoon style pool area.

Caribe Royale - Suite hotel, close to Disney, with great pool area with slide. The rooms didn't thrill me though.

Just a few ideas to help you.

Depending upon when you are going, check eBay for rentals at Horizons, Cypress Harbour and Grande Vista -- I see awesome deals there all of the time, even if Marriott's rooms are sold out. These would be people renting out their timeshare weeks.

The Nick Hotel is great! There are two pools, and both have several life guards on duty all the time. There are also seperate spray areas for the little ones at both pools. Plenty of Slides and other fun activities at the pool.

There are two shows daily by the main pool, where kids and adults are picked to participate in "Double Dare" type games, the winning kids get the chance to be slimed at the end (green water).

There is also nightly shows (free) in the theater, but you have to go to guest services to get the tickets.

We just got back from a 7 night stay, and spent 2 days just at the hotel having fun in the pools.

They also have hot tubs and stictly enforce the 12 and older rule.

FYI, it is very close to Disney, just across I-4 from Downtown Disney.

What about the Port Orlean French Quarter, it has a great slide and lots of other fun stuff, our kids loved it.

I don't know what age your kids are. I have a 5 & 7 year old and we liked the Country Inn & suites at Calypso Cay. It was inexpensive and they have a pool with one swirling slide. Not too much. Plus they have a continental breakfast that was nice. We enjoyed it for $59/night. Not real big but fit our simplier needs.
