Looking for other Disney couples/singles to hang out with!!

My fiancee and I live about 45 minutes away from the mouse and we are always looking for other couples or singles to meet up with to have some conversation and good times. We're open minded and have a severe passion for Disney. We try to stay on property probably once a month, just for a weekend away, but normally just drive up for the day.

DF is 27 and I am 25. A great day at Disney includes having a couple drinks to relax, eating some great food (sushi in Japan!!), and people watching!

We're pretty new to Disney dining and we're trying to make our rounds at many of the restaurants and would love some experienced diners to spend time with.

No, of course not swingers. I don't share!

We will be going to Star Wars Weekends every weekend at least one day, if that interests anyone, but we are saving for the big blowout trip with my fiancee's sister at the beginning of June. She's graduating high school and she's never been to any of the parks except MK.

I'd like to plan some meets for mid-June, not because we won't be there, but I'm afraid we'll be adhereing to a pretty strict budget until then...somebody needs to show us a good time at Jellyrolls, we've never been!!!

As for the Monorail Drink a Thon, I may just have to take you up on that offer...

And for you Littlemermaid77, because the MK doesn't serve alcohol, a dedicated drinker must find other means, so we hop on the Monorail and cruise the hotels....we love Outer Rim at the Contemporary and Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian!! Some ingenious Diser has devised a way to have other Monorail drinkers meet up for some conversation and drunken monorail rides....well, not too drunken of course. I've never been to one, but I've been a lurker on their thread and I must say I'm hooked.

twotoohappy, I would love to meet up, I've been jonesin to get in the doors at Jellyrolls, I've heard great things. Unfortunately that is the weekend before our big Star Wars Weekends outting, but PLEASE keep me updated when you guys are having your next meet, I'll definitely be there!!

We would love to meet up some time! We haven't planned our next trip to WDW yet, but I'll let you know when we do. It might be in June, but may not be until the fall. We buy seasonal passes, so we don't usually go during the summer.

We usually hit the parks and try to eat dinner at one of the nicer restaurants each trip; sometimes we stay in a resort, sometimes we camp at FTW, but we're always on property. We often do the Fri-Sun trips.

It would be cool to hang out!

Just back from a jaunt at the parks...we woke up this morning and decided to brave Animal Kingdom for our first Expedition Everest experience....we sat in the front row and had an AMAZING view....wow.

Anyway, I was thrilled to see that the Dan Murphy replied to this thread...I'd love to meet up, but I'm inclined to say that we won't be at the parks those days because of our pending big weekend the following days after that...but that went out the window after todays surprise visit...but I wouldn't know until a little closer to the date...I'll be sure to keep everyone updated...

taswira, no, we are not members of the 501st Garrison, although my fiancee would certainly love to be one....he's been eyeing a stormtrooper uniform for months...someday he will have it....
