looking for offsite hotel for 25th anniversary

Just me and hubby We are looking for someplace nice, private, inexpensive. I know NEVER. but as close to perfect as possible. needs to be close to Disney, and a suite, prefer a kitchen. Looking at Parkway international, and Royle parc suites. prices are right, but.... still looking. Any Ideas? BTW going end of Feb.

Have you considered a condo?

DH and I are renting a WH condo for a few days next week to celebrate our 20th weddnig anniversary. We are paying just under $100 per night - and of course will be renting a car.

The condo as an idea may appeal to you for the space. There are some really nice ones around. We just negotiated $49/night on a nice two bedroom at Legacy Dunes for just spouse and I for 6 nights in late October.

I just posted this URL for another thread that had specific dates and wanted a condo. You can go to this URL and type in the dates you want and check out really nice condos for rent. Again, in late Feb, this is slower season away from the parks and owners may be very willing to negotiate a bit on prices, especially if there it is just the two of you, no children and therefore minimal wear and tear.

I have been in some of the condos in Reunion and they are spectacular. It is about a 15 munute drive to the parks just up Old Lake Wilson (545) to 192.
If you want really close to Disney and want to try www.Priceline.com we have had really good luck with a 3.5 to 4 star "Downtown Disney or Lake Buena Vista" ONLY. A bid of $55 to $60 is usually pretty good and the hotels are great...some have kitchens but no guarantees but most all now have frig and microwave.

kissimmee is the closes city to WDW not Orlando - Kissimmee use to be a small town - but it has grown.
