Do they exist or are two rooms needed? Which ones are closest? I don't want to stay in a dump but not a pricey place either.....

Thanks,
K

We got a 2 Rm. suite at the brand new Doubletree Suites for $119 a night (prepaid internet rate) for next week. It's about 1/2 mi. from the park. The suite has 2 queen beds + a queen sofa bed and you can get a roll-away at no cost, if needed. The room has a microwave, Refrig., and 2 TV's. There is a laundry facility on-site. The reviews at tripadvisor.com are good so far. :thumbsup2

The rooms are not fancy, but not dumpy either. You can get suites there with multiple rooms for the best deal that I have seen anywhere around Disneyland. Try their website www.anaheimdesertinn.com. We had a suite that had 2 bedrooms (each with 2 queens & a bathroom & a tv) + a sitting room with a tv and a pull-out couch. Each room had a door for privacy. It actually slept 10 people. I think they also have a suite with one bedroom and the sitting room which sleeps 6 -- and gives some privacy.

The Park Inn/Camelot is "right" across the street. :sunny: They're in the middle of renovations right now,so you might want to call first. :confused3 I believe the website is www.parkinnanahiem.com. :surfweb: "IF" the 4th floor is'nt going reno. there's a 2 room suite right off the pool. Lots of room for 6 people. :thumbsup2

We just stayed at the Desert Inn Suites with 3 adults and 3 kids. We had a 2 room suite with 4 queen beds and two bathrooms. The hotel was nothing fancy, but it was clean, close, and the price was right.

I just got back from the Best Western Park Place Inn and Suites. I do believe they have suites big enough for 6. They also have a fridge and micro in every room. There is no off-site hotel that is closer to the entrance of DL than BWPPI. The rooms were clean and the staff was so friendly. The breakfast sucked but it was free (okay- it wasn't THAT bad, but I would never eat there and actually pay for it).

Anyway, I really recommend this place and it sooooooo close. Oh, and I got the cheapest rate by going to the best Western website, not from the hotel directly. :confused3 So try different ways no matter what hotel you choose.
