looking for Mystic, CT help please - Ocean beach, dinosaurs, aquarium

thinking our next day trip may be to Ocean Beach. Anyone go to that beach? Any advice on those directions at the end? I know it can get tricky - 1way streets, etc. How about leaving? I'll be taking 395 to 95

How easy/hard would it be to either head to Dinosaur Crossing or the Mystic Aquarium after the beach? or should we stay and play mini-golf?

And whats the weather for Fri? I had started seeing rain, now it looks like the rain is coming Thurs instead.

sorry, no info on that particular beach...

Are you set on trying that one or are you open to another beach? I would recommend Misquamicut (sp?) beach in Westerly, RI - which is a little closer than Mystic. We have gone down to that area the last three years and the beach has been AWESOME! Warm water, good surf, fun for the kids.

Love the Mystic Aquarium and the vilage to shop at next door.

I can't help you with the directions, I've only been there as a tourist, so I don't know my way around that well, but I just wanted to say the aquarium is excellent, and if you have time, stop by the Mystic Seaport Museum, it's really something to see.
