Looking for Minnie

Hi All--We're leaving in 10 days with 3 ds'--one of whom (6yo) is completely NUTS for Minnie! Even when his classmates remind him: "she's a MOUSE!" he doesn't care! Two years ago, my dh took them to the Country House in MK and she wasn't there--big tears! We have character breakfasts scheduled at the Beach Club so we know we'll see her there--but does anyone have any other tips for finding her? I know Mickey's the big attraction for many, and the princesses for lots of others, but Minnie's the gal for this one...your help is GREATLY appreciated!

Camp Minnie-Mickey in AK -- she's in Safari gear.

Chef Mickey's -- She's in her usual outfit, with a little apron on.

She's usually on Main Street, by the Exposition Hall, greeting guests.

And as you know -- Toontown Fair at MK.

Just to clarify that Toontown location for you, as you didn't find her there Tetonman. She can be found in Toontown at the Toontown Hall of Fame Tent, not in her house, as you would think. It looks like just a big old shop, but look over to your right as you enter Toontown Hall of Fame and there is a big sign above which has the pictures of the characters that are there, so at least you will know if she is in there or not, rather than waiting in line to find she isn't. When I went in May, one of the 'rooms' was Minnie and friends. I've also seen her over at Epcot on the holiday bus. My DS4 gave her a big hug and kiss when he saw, and then leaned in and told her "don't tell Mickey"

In toontown, she is in the Hall of Fame Tent. Also, in that same tent, in the same queue for Minnie, you get to see Donald and Goofy. In another queue in the Hall of Fame Tent you can see Winnie the Pooh, Eyore, and Tiggar, and there is another line for the princesses, but as you can guess the princesses queue fills up very quickly. FYI, Mickey is in the Judges Tent behind his country house.

We have also usually seen Minnie in Epcot when the Characters get off the Holiday Bus!

Finding Minnie should be no problem!

At MGM, I seen Minnie many times in front of the Big Hat. She meets there in half-hour intrevals, usually in the late morning until early afternoon. She meets with many other classic characters like Goofy, Pluto, Chip, Dale, and some Pooh characters.

Like others said, Camp Minnie-Mickey is a good bet, too! Also the big red Epcot Holiday Bus, which is a large bus filled with characters who do meets on and off during the day. The Times Guide (with the park map) usually has the schedule for the bus.

So many choices!!! Hope your DS meets his favorite gal Minnie!

Thanks to you for the tips--we'll try them all! Now I have to remember to fix his Minnie Mouse sunglasses (have you seen those ones that open out--with bows on the eyepieces?? Adorable ) before we go.

He asked me this winter if he could have Minnie pj's--and when I told him they only make them for girls--he just didn't get it--if the boys like her, why don't they make pjs with her on them for boys too?

We're looking forward to a wonderful week--even with the heat and crowds!
