Looking for inspirational phrases and/or sayings

I thank those of you who contributed to my previous thread about the painting/decorating chest and rocking chair (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1091893). The painting/staining turned out well however I don't think I like the appliques... it almost makes it look cheap. So... I'm planning on painting a quote/saying or something of that nature instead. I'm looking for inspirational sayings, phrases, blessings, quotes, etc. I found one that I love but I think may be too "deep" (and maybe too long ). It is as follows:

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away

Any thoughts on that or suggestions of something else. Although it is for a "baby", it will be something that she hopefully keeps with her for a lifetime.
