My youngest daughter and I are heading down Saturday a day before my husband and oldest daughter join us on Sunday. Because of my husbands crazy work schedule I am typically the one with the kids all the time and they never really are separated from each other. I'm wanting to do something special with the youngest since we don't really get mom-daughter time together. I thought about a character breakfast but can't really justify the high expense when I know neither of us will really eat what we will pay. Do you guys have any suggestions on something special to do together that won't break the bank? We'll have from about 6pm Saturday-8pm on Sunday solo. I should mention that we will be staying in the Old Town area and the activity does NOT have to be on Disney property. Thanks!!:cheer2:

There are lots of things...Old Town itself has Fun Spot with rides and Go-Karts, there is mini golf next door to that.

There are plenty of malls to walk around and shop together, that is always an option.

I drive has Wonder Works and Ripley Museum as well..both are cool places to check out.

what about chip and dale's campfire and movies at fort wilderness-its free

Thanks for the advice! DD is only 5 so Ripley's and stuff like that would be a little lost on her. Thinking about maybe doing DTD or Boardwalk with her and just hang out and play for a while. Thanks again!

I second the campfire and sing a long at fort wilderness! We love it there! Can't beat free! :)
