We booked a cruise with 3 months out and after booking our flights home I realized that my trip home was going to be at night from Vancouver on the same day we get off the ship and this will give us lots of time to kill. I've been to Vancouver last year when we traveled to Hawaii but we didn't return to Vancouver so we didn't have this issue. I have tried to do a search for info on how people handled a day in Vancouver but what I'm looking for isn't coming up so I'm looking for some help.
I read that there is a place to store bags at the port and I was wondering if anyone has any experience doing this and how they made out? where is this "store your bags place"?
What else did people do for the day?
I read that there were some excursions in and around Vancouver that you can take your bags with you has anyone done one of those and if so how did you make out? the few I found I didn't see them delivering you to the airport but back to the port so I was wondering if anyone found one that would bring you to the airport?

Any help would be appreciated

thanks

We decided to stay one more night after the cruise and then leave the next night. That way, we had a place to put our stuff and we didn't have a really, really long day at the end of the cruise.

On the next day, we spent time walking some of the trails in Stanley Park. It was a great day! So great, in fact, that we didn't want to fly home that night and decided to stay for three more nights.

We had this same situation a year ago. The hotel that is connected to the port will store your bags as long as you need within the day. I don’t remember pricing but maybe $20 a bag. It was better than the store it place because that closed early.
We stored our bags and took a cab to the aquarium in Stanley park. We did that and had lunch in Stanley park. We took a taxi back and then we took the free buses that are right outside that hotel to grouse mountain. We had plenty of time to do both things but our flight wasn’t until like 10:00 at night.

https://vancouvertours.com/ It has been years since, but we enjoyed our tour with this company. It looks like they have a couple post cruise options.
We used Vancouver tours/Landsea tours in 2016 when we had a red eye flight home. We've also booked them for this August. It was a really great tour in 2016. We did one they're not offering as a post cruise tour anymore though. They pick you and luggage up from cruise port and will drop you off at airport or hotel afterwards.
