looking for grand villas at old key west

I am looking for a grand villa at old key west. Mid june 2011. I am new to this site so any suggestions or help is appreciated.

Subject to availability for cash guests, you can find them on the regular Disney reservation site. Just search in the Deluxe Villas section.

If they are not coming up as a choice, there probably are none available for your dates, or possibly not available yet (DVC properties don't work the same as regular rooms relative to when they become available for cash bookings - it's all a bit of a mystery to me as to when they start to show up).

You can also look into renting a reservation for one from a DVC member (check the DVC Rent/Trade board here on the DIS for info), but you would have to find an OKW owner to book it for you at 11 months out, so you need to start looking for one at least a year in advance, so you are already late for your dates. Starting in December, all DVC members can book for June 2011 at OKW whether they own there or not, so if there are any left now, that will only become more difficult once December hits. But renting from a member is a great way to save considerable money over Disney's cash rates, or even to get something that you cannot get through Disney directly for cash.

We are owners of OKW and stayed in the 3 bedrooms a number of times. They are really great lots of room. We usually go down with other families and kind of use the 3 bedroom as a central post!!

You will love it!!

There used to be a few pop up on the weekends, but since they rebalanced the points I would not expect that finding them through CRO would be very rare, since they are by far the best value on points of any DVC GV.

If you want to try to rent points for a reservaion I would try now since they go very fast.

They are great and I just booked 4 nights in july in a HH unit.
