We checked prices when we were there in July. It was like $20 per person to bowl then the meal was extra. Seamed very expensive to us. I think the $20 was for 1 game...We didn't do it. So can't help with the actual experience!
We were thinking of making a reservation for our August trip coming up. When looking at prices, it seems pretty expensive. The rates are per person and were $20/hours the days we were looking for. That means $80 for an hour of bowling! I know that Disney is expensive and I'm sure the need to charge that to make $$, but not sure I am willing to pay that to go bowling. Food and other stuff is extra so I am sure there is no way I would get out of there for less than $200. We'll probably go in and look around, but can't see spending that kind of $$ to go bowling.
We have a new place called Kings Bowl around here that has 4 hour wait times to get on a lane during the weekends. The prices are about 25% of what Splittsville is charging.
As far as yeah or nay, you need to decide if $20/person/hour is worth it to your family.
I called about make a reservation and get this . . . for a Saturday evening bowl in July it is $125 per lane and $4 shoe rental pp. So, with tax, for 4 people, $150. If I walk in, it is $20 pp incl. shoe rental. crazy!
