Hi all,

My husband and I are currently building a new house and we are looking to add some unquie "disney" touches.

I thought I would post some of the items that we are looking for and see if any of you know where we could find them.

Right now we are in the search for a door bell that plays a disney tune.

Thanks in advance for any help!

My normal doorbell (i.e. non-disney) has the its a small world tune as one of its options. The only drawback is that it now rings for longer than the phone.
If you dont find a proper disney one, you could consider one like that.

Thank you! That sounds wonderfully anoying which is Great! Could you please tell me what kind it is. I have been looking at all sorts of doorbells and can't even find one that has that!

 Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It is indeed very annoying, but also fun. I have no idea what make it was, it is a fairly generic musical doorbell that has about 10 choices of music including that one, however, on the options list it was not called "its a small world", but something else. Will see if I can dig out the reciept for it, as that might say.

I actually found something that I think is going to be WONDERFUL. It is called Record-A-Chime by Dimango. It let's you record up to 10 seconds of a song from your computer. I can only imagine what kind of fun I am going to have with this. Can you just see at Halloween - "Welcome Foolish Mortals!" or in general - "Please Stand Clear of the Door, Por Favor, . . . " This is going to be fun!

I can't wait! It isn't that expensive either. There is one on ebay for less than $50 with shipping and the one I found on the internet new is about $70 with shipping.

You guys are great with helping. I will have to post other things that I am looking for.

Thanks again!

For your interior colors check with Home Depot. They have the Disney Colors. Theyu also have decoration ideas for mixing the main colors and trim.

I had a new home built, and found that even for upgrades they were using a contractor grade paint and not a real top of the line, as well as wanting $300 for each color change (in addition to the charge for the ugrade).

I found a painter who did four rooms for me for $400 after I bought the paint; he told me the quantities and I paid just under $200 for the paint, so my total was about $600.

My office is "Some Enchanted Evening" (which is close to Figment's color), the master bedroom is "Astro-Blaster Blue", and both guest bedrooms are "Green With Envy".
