Looking for Dancing Elephants

Oh my, just read the write-up on Maleficent Dragon on PinPics, it from the Disnew Gallery stores!! I don't suppose you'd have any info on it would you, Nicole? It doesn't say when it was issued. Oh well, worth a try.

No, it's not in the store. It is from the Magical Moments series, which I think was issued in 2000, if I'm not mistaken. I think it's great, too.

I just started collecting on Saturday, so I actually have no Maleficents at all!!!! I just think she is terrific. I hope to find a couple of good ones in WDW. They are supposed to be releasing a Maleficent Snowglobe Parade open stock this month, so hopefully I'll get one of those.

I wanted to originally concentrate on the villanesses/divas, but 1) they are in big demand, and 2), I'm not nuts about all of them. So I'll just go after my favorite Divas - Maleficent, The Wicked Queen, and Ursala.

Stupid me bought Cruella on line just because I had to have SOMETHING. Now I'm ready to trade her, and she hasn't even arrived at my house yet!

Hercules is my favorite movie, so I'd like to pick up a couple of Herc and Meg and Hades, who rocks!

From the DS series being sold right now I'm going after the poster pins - I like their retro look.

At least if we buy something we don't like, its only $7-10 dollars. Imagine if we collected antiques! Not only woiuld we spend a lot more on something we decide we don't like, but it takes up a lot more room!

Did you get DD a reluctant dragon? What are you collecting? How did you start? How long?

Idid get the pink elephantspink elephants but I had to buy. Only $6.?? so what the heck like you said Nicole! Then, oh my gosh, I saw the "playing cards pin!!", they are the best yet!! I must have them!! I've only seen them on pinpics, not for sale or anything yet, butI 'll keep my beady little eyes open . We just got back from WDW in the middle of October. I had NO idea what all this pin thing was about. About the 4th day there, and asking a few questions to both CM and the collectors I'd see at the stands (with this INTENSE look of concentration on their faces) I became hooked. Wish, oh wish I would have known then what I know now!!!! so, I really don't have many for trade. some are listed on pinpics. We did manage to bag the USA flag head Mickey (I'll send a picture of me with this BIG ole' smile on my face in front of the Liberty Store!! (Scrapbook page!) But ya, know, Nicole, I figure if I buy a pin, andthen one comes out that I like better, I can always trade/sell the first one I bought, so I buy all the ones I like (and can afford!! )
What # is your Cruella, I look it up on pinpics. Maybe there's a Cruella or Dalmation fan on your Christmas list? I'm going to my DS and get the Doc pin when it comes out for my brother-in law who's a chiropractor. Maybe I'll get the whole family hooked!!

So far I've bought most of the pins I've acquired on-line. I love the Haunted Mansion pins!! Alice in Wonderland, also the pins which represent the places me and my family went to last year and this year while in WDW and places around it, (Rainforest Cafe, etc.). Then, we were planning to attend the opening of Monsters, Inc. last Friday for my birthday when I saw the Opening ppin!!! It has my birthday on it. Needless to say, I bagged that one, too! what do you guys have? Any for trade? What's your name on pinpics? I'll look you up.
